We are excited to welcome Dr. Gabriele Bertoli who has joined us as a Research Assistant co-supervised with Dr. Rossella Arcucci.
Since completing his PhD, Gabriele’s research has focused on integrating Hydrology and Data Science. He is currently involved in the Unlocking Local Knowledge Production for Global Water Reanalysis project, part of the VIEW initiative, where he is exploring the potential of local and unconventional knowledge to improve hydrological modelling through large language models, data assimilation, machine learning, and process-based approaches.
